Domofinance, specialist in financing energy renovation, celebrates its 20th anniversary!

Created in 2003 at the initiative of EDF and BNP Paribas Personal Finance, Domofinance is the only financial institution totally dedicated to financing energy renovation and home improvement works.

A commitment to the energy transition

Today, Domofinance employs 120 people, in collaboration with a network of 1,800 partners who work every day to reduce the environmental impact of housing throughout France.

Financing solutions for the renovation of individual housing

Domofinance distributes a complete range of financing solutions for the energy renovation of individual homes. The work may involve the replacement of the heating system, insulation, installation of photovoltaic panels, more comprehensive energy renovations combining several work packages etc.

One of the specificities of Domofinance is to offer some of the lowest rates on the market. This specificity is made possible thanks to the participation of EDF, which subsidizes loans in exchange for the Energy Savings Certificates generated by the works. The latter also allow customers to benefit from a bonus paid by EDF.

Between 2004 and 2023, Domofinance financed nearly 800,000 individual loan applications.

Since 2013, Domofinance has financed the renovation of collective housing

In order to diversify its activity and to extend its support to energy renovation, Domofinance launches the financing of the renovation of private condominiums. Over the years, Domofinance has built a strong network with Condominium Management Companies and Contracting Authority Support Companies to support the renovation of collective housing.
