The Cetelem Foundation is evolving its mission

A new era for the Cetelem Foundation

At 33 years old, the Cetelem Foundation is opening a new chapter in its history. After several years of action towards digital inclusion, it is now expanding its horizon towards social inclusion for people in vulnerable situations. A strong repositioning, in line with the most urgent needs of French society.

Because social intelligence is not optional, but rather the cornerstone of a resilient society, our Foundation supports associations that create positive momentum for people in vulnerable situations.
We stand for an inclusive society, where everyone has a rightful place — because every link matters!

Miruna Senciuc, President of the Cetelem Foundation

An alarming social context

The figures speak for themselves:

  • 15,4%* of French people live below the poverty line.
  • 12%** of the French population suffers from social isolation.
  • More than 560,000 people in France are victims of physical and/or sexual violence.
  • 13%**** are affected by depression.

Faced with these realities and in a context of gradual withdrawal of public support, associations are more than ever on the front line. The Cetelem Foundation aims to strengthen its action by providing targeted and lasting support.

Three areas of commitment

The Cetelem Foundation will now focus its action around three major axes:

  1. Strenghtening social connections,
  2. Support for mental and/or physical health,
  3. Combating violence.

Every year, a theme will be highlighted through a national call for projects.

The year 2026 to rebuild social ties

The first call for projects of this new direction will open on November 17, 2025, where the theme is: supporting social ties.
A central issue for recreating spaces of solidarity, dialogue, and inclusion at the heart of the territory.
