Back on the 48 hours of the Climate Fresk!

After the 24 hours of the Climate Fresk, the latter is back, but for 48 hours! This year, the event took place on Thursday, June 8 and Friday, June 9, continuously.

What is the Climate Fresk?

The Climate Fresk is a fun and collaborative training that allows both to understand the challenges of climate change, but also to identify avenues for action at its level.

During this 3-hour awareness workshop and from the 42 cards of the game (representing the different components of climate change), the participants co-construct a mural linking the causes and consequences of climate change in order to understand its process and effects.

The facts are taken from the various graphs and reports published by the IPCC (Intergovernmental Group on Climate Change) and the workshop was created by Cédric Ringenbach.

Through a shared understanding of the mechanisms at work, the Climate Fresk allows teams to have an open and positive conversation about climate change. Then with the Engage4Impact workshops, concrete actions can be identified and implemented on a daily basis.

The Climate Fresk at BNP Paribas Personal Finance, in a few figures

BNP Paribas established a partnership with the association in 2019 and, as of 2020, Fresk workshops are being organized within the Group.

In 2022, more than 300 employees were made aware of these issues, mainly for team activities. And every year, this number is increasing! To date, about thirty tcollaborators are trained to lead workshops, and training is available for anyone wishing to access them. Finally, about 800 employees attended the Climate Fresk workshop, from France and 10 other countries around the world.

Thus, each employee can, if he wishes, follow workshops of the Climate Fresk or even organize a workshop with his team.

I had the opportunity to do 3 Fresks with all my collaborators. It is an excellent program, enriching, educational and without falling into proselytism…. To recommend to everyone!
