Interview “Inside Out” : Kadelina Fang, Communication Officer & Actress in the new TV show Kitchen Hustle

Hello Kadelina, what is your “Unexpected Job” ?

I would say that I am like “an information florist” ! 💐

My missions are very varied and that’s exactly what I like ! I gather fresh news, I choose my words to compose a harmonious bouquet of informations that makes one want to read and share it.

In short, I ensure that each employee leaves with their own little bouquet of meaning and the feeling of belonging to the same garden.

If I had to summarize my work in 3 missions, it would be :

  • I listen to each client, according to the needs of each, I adapt my support proposals and the tone according to the target audience.
  • I balance, every day, we choose news to share and I balance between seriousness and lightness.
  • I grow the connection between teams so that everyone knows what others are doing and feels involved in the company’s life.

🎬 What’s your “little something extra” ?

I consider myself as an insatiable artist of new experiences.

I have always expressed myself through art. I did music, classical dance, drawing, photography, and much more.

But the form of art that has won my heart is acting/comedy.

Highlights of my career :

  • Destiny made it so that at the age of 6, I was spotted in Paris to play the lead role in a film. With the innocence of a child who knew nothing about the acting profession, I left for 3 months in the Vosges to act on my first film set. This film has been internationally awarded.
  • At 16, I make my debut on TV screens. For 3 years, I play a leading role in a famous youth series and I string together projects. I alternate filming days and school days : on Monday, I act with Franck Dubosc and on Friday, I take my philosophy final. This is a real turning point in my career.
  • Last year, I secured a spot in my dream Master’s program at Panthéon-Assas while also securing a significant role in Kitchen Hustle show, a France TV show about the world of gastronomy and bistronomy in France in the 2000s. For 3 months, I spend my life on trains between Paris and Lyon. The pace is intense, it’s exhausting, but I want to both play and earn my degree. I am trained by a real star chef, I work in the kitchens of Paul Bocuse and the result is there ! The series was released last September and already has over 1 million views and only positive reviews.

😃 Because life is not just about work, what are your “3 Blissful Moments a Day” ?

  1. Reading books : Since I was little, I read because I love living multiple lives through stories. I write a bit too, maybe one day you will read one of my writings, or a film that I have written. For now, these are my articles !
  2. Listening to music : I am highly sensitive, music gives me a lot of emotion. When I was younger, I played the violin and it remains to this day the instrument I prefer to listen to.
  3. Eating a sweet : I love pastries and chocolate very much. I try not to overdo it, but from time to time it helps me get through tough days.

The mascot has a magic wand, what are your 3 wishes for BNP Paribas Personal Finance ?

  1. Continue to financially support the seventh art industry, cinema is part of our collective heritage, it embodies creativity, diversity, and emotion. By continuing to invest in cinema, BNP Paribas encourages imagination and transmission.
  2. That the comment space in Echonet news becomes a dialogue space. I would like more employees to express themselves, encourage each other, and share their successes.
  3. May creativity have even more room in daily life. I was able to observe that our employees are very creative. There is room for creativity even in the banking sector !
