In 2012, the Rescue & Recover fund was set up as an innovative resource for encouraging solidarity by the BNP Paribas Group and four of its subsidiaries, BNP Paribas Fortis, BNP Paribas Cardif, BNP Paribas Personal Finance and BNP Paribas Switzerland.

The fund is open to all Group employees around the world and allows those employees to quickly act in the event of a humanitarian crisis.

Every donation received is doubled by BNP Paribas and then sent to three partnering NGOs: CARE, the French Red Cross and Doctors without Borders.

To facilitate charitable contributions, donation terminals have been set up at the offices of the founding members of the Rescue & Recover fund. The contactless terminals allow employees to make small donations quickly and securely at their very place of work.
