For this second edition of Inside Out, we welcome Ilaria Di Cocco, HR Staffing Support at Findomestic AND Agile Scrum Master!
Master Degree in Psychology, Ilaria joined Findomestic 5 years ago, first in charge of staff administration and then of IT recruiting, in the HR team.
From 2022, she is part of 2 squads as Agile Scrum Master:

- The squad Engage Us (HR Administrative Activities, Diversity and Inclusions)
Hello Ilaria, what’s your “Unexpected Job”?
My unexpected job would be “Pokemon Ditto’s substitute”!
I have the ability to change form and adapt to the situation I’m working on and what is requested from me!
As Agile Scrum Master, I can summarise my work in 3 words:
- I support HR in its agile transformation,
- I work to remove the impediments that team colleagues encounter in their daily lives,
- I make sure that all Scrum events are carried out in a positive, productive manner and that they are timeboxed. As such, my role has a lot of facets.
While enabling greater agility, Scrum Master is mentoring members of the Scrum Team and others in the organization. He is a real coach who supervises and supports a team according to the agile Scrum method. He is accountable for helping their teams succeed, and that often means offering assistance in groups or on a one-on-one basis.
🦸♂️ What’s your “little something extra”?
I’m one of the 3 agile scrum master of HR and very pretty proud about it! HR transformation was not done in a single day!
After my maternity leave, I decided to use my Pokemon superpower and transform to become scrum master!
I first obtained the Professional Scrum Master™ Certifications, all by myself and then in January 2022 and transformed my role in scrum master specialised in HR.
The main reason? I used to ask IT employees I was in charge of as recruiter to develop new skills among which Agile Certifications because these skills are absolutely necessary for these profiles. At the end, I thought, why not applying the same method to HR and by consequence to myself!
So sometimes I’m a timekeeper, others a facilitator and also a sort of human mirror, because the strength of a team comes from its members. In am a solution finder. I never give up! Usually, my colleagues ask for me if there is a problem. I will find a solution and reach the target.
😃 Because life is not just about work, what are your “3 Blissful Moments a Day”?
- My first expresso in a Christmas cup. I love Christmas and this cup helps me wait until the next edition and keeps the momentum going.
- A piece of dark chocolate every day! Even better when shared with my colleagues at work.
- 10 minutes of silence by myself. I have one small kid at home, and another to come so I really need to enjoy these 10 minutes!
✨ The mascot has a magic wand, what are your 3 wishes for BNP Paribas Personal Finance and Findomestic?
- I’d wish to continue leading the way in customer service excellence. Our clients are at the heart of everything we do, and I’d love to see us raise the bar even higher in delivering the best experience and solutions in the credit market.
- The ability to imagine future scenarios and context changes and know how to change to anticipate evolutions.
- Endless coffee, chocolate and good ideas! With the right fuel and creativity, we can achieve any goal!
