E-sport – Cetelem becomes the official partner of the Solary women’s team!
Already a major partner of Solary since May 2022, Cetelem is now the official partner of the «Solary Academy» women’s team, on the video game League of Legends. This team, launched on May 14, 2023, consists of five players aged 20 to 24.
Cetelem’s initial ambition, by becoming a major partner of Solary in May 2022, was to support the professionalization of e-sport. In full expansion, this sector counts today 2 million amateur practitioners*. The key word of this year of partnership: support; fundamental value, common to both actors.
Today, it is a second value that unites Cetelem and Solary: inclusion. Indeed, if the world of e-sport was only 6% female in 2022, Solary intends to do something about it and allow more female players to live on their passion and make their talent shine in France and abroad. Cetelem, meanwhile, has been carrying out this commitment for many years, guaranteeing access to credit to as many people as possible, regardless of age or socio-economic profile, with the will to adapt its products to make them more inclusive.
Through the extension of this partnership, Cetelem will continue to support the development of Solary with the ambition to encourage gender diversity in e-sport.
