BNP Paribas Personal Finance continues its Engage4Impact programme!
Sustainability is one of the key skills of the 21st century, as was the case with digital technology in the last century, because companies are orchestrating a transformation as important as, if not more than, that imposed by the digital event.
In this context, the BNP Paribas Group has created the Sustainability Academy, a platform where every employee can have access to all training courses.
At BNP Paribas Personal Finance, a 3-step training course was built, providing training for all employees. These aim to share a common knowledge base on Sustainable Development, but also to provide avenues for reflection and means of action to integrate sustainability into our offerings and processes.
Engage4Impact is:
A 2-hour workshop that allows each participant to:
Know: understand why sustainable development is so important to integrate into our businesses?
Explore: explore what it means in my business
Own: take ownership of the 7 commitments in the BNP Paribas Personal Finance manifesto and have concrete examples
Act: act, identify the actions that each can initiate in his profession, to bring evidence to the commitments of the manifest.
Some key figures?
This program was created between the Engagement and HR Department in 2022. Since its creation, we have had more than 1,000 participants from 11 countries and various central functions.
In 2023, the program was relaunched and today, it is being rolled out in all geographies in different formats (workshops in person or in teams, workshops during seminars bringing together all teams of the same directorate) and led by employees of the company, lead ambassadors.
At the end of June, 1600 employees from 8 countries took part in this workshop.
Our ambition:
In 2023, we want at least 33% of employees to have participated in an Engage4Impact workshop and to be trained and engaged in sustainable development issues.
By the end of 2025, we aim for a total of 100% of BNP Paribas Personal Finance employees.
