Stamatia Nikolakakis, Head of B2B Retail, shared her key takeaways from the first day at VivaTech. She also hosted a roundtable with Fnac-Darty, discussing what a partnership between a bank and a retailer entails, and what partners expect from us. She highlighted the collaboration between Apple and BNP Paribas Personal Finance as an example. This partnership reflects a core belief: innovating in retail means prioritizaing the customer journey. It’s about integrating new technologies while ensuring simplicity and seamless customer experiences.
IA & Data for hyper-personalized customer journeys
At VIVA Tech, hard to resist the promise of artificial intelligence, and rightly so. Mouhamed Seck, Machine Learning Engineer at BNP Paribas Personal Finance, points out that AI is not limited to a pervasive trend on the show: it is at the very heart of BNP Paribas Personal Finance’s strategy. From differentiated pricing and targeting algorithms, to a generative AI platform developed internally to create marketing content, there are many initiatives.
