“Sport means total escape from life” said François Hertel. This is a sentiment that really comes into its own when you take a closer look at the activities run by Pompier Raid Aventure. The aim of the members of this organisation is to make children with reduced mobility realise that they too can have great adventures.

This close-knit team of firefighters and ex-firefighters takes part in runs all over the world, taking it in turns to give children an unforgettable experience – children who thought they would never, ever have such adventures. By taking them out of their condition as a child with reduced mobility, the organisation helps them to completely escape from their usual, everyday lives.

Vincent is one of the big-hearted, seasoned runners who, for some years now, have been taking such children on runs of varying difficulty. BNP Paribas Personal Finance decided to support his commitment.
