“The partnership between BNP Paribas Personal Finance and Les Restos du Cur is a sign of the company’s strong social commitment
Within BNP Paribas Personal Finance, the Cetelem Foundation is involved in e-inclusion, a means of overcoming the digital divide via three types of sponsorship: financial aid, skills contribution and equipment donations.
In the latter case, the Cetelem Foundation and the IS department donate IT hardware to partner charities, as part of a recycling scheme.
To help the company with these efforts and to further its role as a committed corporate citizen, the Cetelem Foundation has teamed up with RECYCLEA, a company specialised in the recycling of computer equipment and applying an inclusion policy for people with disabilities.
Among the organisations benefiting from the laptops, printers and CPUs donated by the Group, there is Les Restos du Coeur, which also distributes food packages and hot meals to the needy.
Sylvain Steuperaert, a manager from Les Restos du Coeur, and Céline Chédeau, an IT hardware manager at BNP Paribas Personal Finance, tell us all about this very important partnership.
