“The most rewarding aspect of this project is the interpersonal one.”
To rise to the challenges and meet the objectives of BNP Paribas Personal Finance’s PF Forward Plus Strategic Plan by 2022, the “Scaled Agile approach” IT Management France Program, Yuko, was launched in April 2019.
Working in an agile manner is not a new concept at BNP Paribas Personal Finance. During a recent interview, Andrei Georgescou, explained to us exactly what the “Agile” mindset is. He indicated in particular the importance of using Agile methods to best rise to client challenges and favour the adoption of such methods by a growing number of employees.
The Yuko Project subscribes fully to this approach, and aims to encourage the use of Agile on a wide scale.
More specifically, this ambitious transformation program encompasses three aspects:
- Firstly, the IT architecture will be upgraded to become cloud native.
- Secondly, industrialise endto-end IT processes, from development to production.
- Finally, it aims to develop methods of operation and the operating model by drawing on the “Scaled Agile approach” concept.
The purpose of this transformation is to develop the methods of operation used within the IT Management structure and interpersonal relations amongst the various trades practised at BNP Paribas Personal Finance France, where one of the most interesting aspects remains working on the interpersonal aspect – as without employee support and commitment, it will not be possible to achieve such transformation.
Thus, encompassing employee well-being and new opportunities, company challenges and the organisation of future work, Marie Maffre, the Yuko Project Lead, explains to us, in a video, the broad outlines and challenges presented by this programme that she has been leading for the past year as part of the BNP Paribas Personal Finance France IT team!
