The Climate Fresk, what is it?
Caroline Roy, a BNP Paribas Personal Finance collaborator for 16 years, has many hats: trainer, Scrum Master, Community Manager for the Data division’s DiligenSE app and also graphic facilitator for the agile tribe. Her days are already full. However, it is during the lockdown that she discovers The Climate Fresk.
Convinced by the project, she decided to train immediately and add a new hat to her profile: be a “Fresqueuse”! But what is the Climate Fresk?
Created by Cedric Ringenbach at the end of 2018, the association has only one goal: to disseminate the scientific knowledge of many climate experts, from the IPCC reports, to as many people as possible. In the form of a simple, visual game based on collective intelligence, this workshop is aimed at young and old (10 years minimum) and allows to understand all the climate change issues within 3 hours. Indeed, we must first understand, then act.
Today, more than 450,000 people took part in a Climate Fresk Workshop with all the cards in hand to take action. The association now counts 20,000 facilitators (freskers) to lead the workshops… and Caroline is one of them.
One of the very first “Fresqueuses” within BNP Paribas Personal Finance, Caroline contributed to the company’s encouraging results. Over the last 6 months:
- Over 30 fresks realized internally
- 25 facilitators ready to organize Climate Fresk workshops
And this is just the beginning…
