He is celebrating this year his 28-year career journey within the company where he has led a diverse path : from Debt Collection to Risk, through credit analysis and financial organization, mainly in the Retail sector.<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-3 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"color:#ffffff\"><strong>Since four years, he has been managing the Retail teams in the North region of Portugal.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Hello Augusto, what is your&nbsp;&#8220;Unexpected Job&#8221;&nbsp;?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I&#8217;d say I&#8217;m like&nbsp;<strong>the Master Yoda of Retail<\/strong>&nbsp;!&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In order for my team to move forward with confidence, file after file, without ever losing sight of the client&#8217;s interest, my role is to :<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><div class=\"container\">\n<li><strong>Motivate Retail Jedi,&nbsp;<\/strong>creating a pleasant work environment and support my team members in their challenges to keep them engaged and fulfilled;<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<li><strong>To guide<\/strong>&nbsp;by giving them the necessary means to achieve the objectives set;<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<li><strong>To increase&nbsp;<\/strong>Cetelem&#8217;s reputation by developing its attractiveness on the Portuguese market.<\/li>\n<\/div><\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>In short, I support and reveal the strength of my team in order to expand the Cetelem Galaxy.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If I had to summarize my work in 3 missions, it would be:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><div class=\"container\">\n<li><strong>I support&nbsp;<\/strong>my teams and our B2B customers;<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<li><strong>I develop and plan<\/strong>&nbsp;the various commercial action plans;<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<li><strong>I monitor<\/strong>&nbsp;KPIs by regularly measuring business results against objectives.<\/li>\n<\/div><\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What&#8217;s&nbsp;your &#8220;little something extra&#8221;&nbsp;?<\/strong> <strong>?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I am a wine and olive oil producer in the Douro region of Portugal.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Indeed, this winemaking activity is a family heritage dating back to 1735. A few years ago, when I lost my father, with my 5 brothers and sisters, we made the choice to take over the business together. This was possible because we gained the knowledge we needed from our family.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I can reconcile these two professions today because we have a well-structured organization and a relationship of trust within the family.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My 3 goals for the family business:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\"><div class=\"container\">\n<li><strong>Honouring and perpetuating the family business :<\/strong>&nbsp;maintaining the business and preserving the tradition.<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<li><strong>Linking tourism and production :&nbsp;<\/strong>creating a link between tourism in the Douro region and the production of wine and olive oil.<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<li><strong>Launching my own brand :&nbsp;<\/strong>my dream is to develop my own wine brand on the market.<\/li>\n<\/div><\/ol>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Because life is not just about work, what are&nbsp;your &#8220;3 Blissful Moments a Day&#8221;&nbsp;? ? <\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\"><div class=\"container\">\n<li><strong>Reading books <\/strong><strong>?<\/strong><strong> :&nbsp;<\/strong>To relax and think about something else, I read a lot, mainly historical and biographies.<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<li><strong>Participate in wine tasting events <\/strong><strong>?<\/strong><strong> :&nbsp;<\/strong>Definitely, I&#8217;m passionate! Wine fairs and tasting days are events that bring together wine lovers, it&#8217;s a real pleasure to participate. But in the end, I think that doing simple tastings with friends will still be my favorite activity.<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<li><strong>Participate in equestrian events <\/strong><strong>?<\/strong><strong> :&nbsp;<\/strong>I have a real passion for the equestrian world. Portuguese equestrian art is a true monument to Portuguese culture and identity.
