By being certified Sustainable IT Level 1 in 6 European countries, BNP Paribas Personal Finance embarks on a new phase in reducing the ecological, economic and social footprint of information and communication technologies (ICT).<\/strong> This certification applies to Spain and Italy (since 2024), Germany and the UK (since 2025), and finally France and the Benelux (since the beginning of 2026). With such a broad scope, BNP Paribas Personal Finance is one of the most certified consumer credit companies in Europe!<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

Being certified as a Sustainable IT, what does it mean?<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n

Being certified as Sustainable IT means that an organization, a management team, or an IT scope has had the maturity of its digital practices and ambitions (roadmap) formally assessed and recognized in terms of environmental, social, ethical, and governance issues.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Sustainable IT Label is based on the Sustainable IT framework developed by the Institut of Sustainable IT, in partnership with the Ministry in charge of ecological transition and the ADEME (Agency for the Environment and Energy Management<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A certification provided by the Lucie agency<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The responsibility for managing the Sustainable IT Label has been entrusted to a specialized CSR consulting firm, Agence Lucie, tasked with coordinating the labeling process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This label is awarded by a committee of independent and unpaid experts to ensure their credibility.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
