She joined the Communication teams at Consors Finanz in Germany a year ago as an Employer Branding Manager. Her role ? Bringing the company&#8217;s culture to life !<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hello Marion, what is your\u00a0&#8220;Unexpected Job&#8221; ?<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I would say that I am a <strong>&#8220;Gardener of culture&#8221; ????\u200d?<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>My role is to :<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><div class=\"container\">\n<li>Create favorable conditions to bring culture to life<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<li>Water the plantations regularly so that our values can grow naturally<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<li>Take care of the soil and ensure the quality of the foundations so that the culture has good conditions to grow, take root and flourish in everyday life.<\/li>\n<\/div><\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>In short, based on the roots of the company&#8217;s values, I create an authentic garden reflecting the culture of Consors Finanz.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If I had to summarize my work in 3 missions, it would be :<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><div class=\"container\">\n<li><strong>I communicate<\/strong> internally and externally the company&#8217;s vision to highlight the company&#8217;s values and culture.<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<li><strong>I train<\/strong>\u00a0company leaders to bring the culture to life and become ambassadors of the company&#8217;s identity within their own team.<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<li><strong>I create<\/strong>\u00a0an environment where employees feel they belong to a team, because a brand is not just a logo and a slogan, it is also the all the people who make it exist.<\/li>\n<\/div><\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u2696\ufe0f What&#8217;s your&nbsp;&#8220;little something extra&#8221;&nbsp;?<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>I am a big fan of &#8220;True crime&#8221;.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Two years ago, while I was looking to do some volunteer work with meaning and in line with my interests,<strong>&nbsp;a friend of mine who was a criminology student drew my attention to the&nbsp;position of&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>&#8220;Lay Judge&#8221;<\/strong><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I applied via my city&#8217;s town hall and I was selected to commit to becoming a lay judge <strong>for a term of 5 years.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once a year, I receive a list of days when I must be available in order to attend to come into court.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I only find out on the day itself which case will be heard.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>We work on complex criminal and civil cases<\/strong> (drug trafficking, assault, rape, murder, &#8230;). As lay judges, we have the same voting rights as professional judges when it comes to the verdict.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We embody the <strong>&#8220;voice of civil society&#8221;<\/strong> and offering moral insight and <strong>&#8220;common sense&#8221; from the people.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The lay judge thus complements the professional judge&#8217;s legal expertise.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-2 is-vertical is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-0584a593 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\" style=\"border-radius:38px;color:#ffffff;background-color:#460528;padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60);padding-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60);padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60);padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60)\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The qualities of an Lay Judge in 3 words :<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-7387b849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:33.33%\">\n<ul style=\"font-size:22px\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Sense of justice<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Empathy<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Versatility<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every case is different and sometimes, for certain cases, we struggle to make a judgment, but that\u2019s what I find fascinating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Being Lay Judge is a huge contrast with my daily life and my job at Consors Finanz&nbsp;but it&#8217;s a great opportunity to better understand the German legal system.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">? Because life is not just about work, what are&nbsp;your &#8220;3 Blissful Moments a Day&#8221; ?<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><div class=\"container\">\n<li><strong>Cooking (especially Italian food ??) : <\/strong>This is my &#8220;relax&#8221; moment. And if I can cook Italian food, then\u2026 That\u2019s my absolute happiness ! I even have a pasta machine, so I make my own fresh homemade pasta.<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<li><strong>Walking in the forest ? : <\/strong>I live in the countryside near Munich and I&#8217;m lucky to have a beautiful forest right next to me. Walking allows me to change my surroundings and to take my daily steps, which I record on my watch. Because usually, in our jobs, we tend to sit all day at our desks.<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<li><strong>Quality Time ? :<\/strong> It depends a lot on my mood and my stress level. Sometimes it\u2019s just staying at home, reading a book or watching comfort series. And at other times, it&#8217;s going out to see my friends.
