{"id":37084,"date":"2023-04-11T08:00:00","date_gmt":"2023-04-11T06:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/personal-finance.bnpparibas\/tolerance-zero-face-au-racisme-pour-lutter-contre-les-discriminations\/"},"modified":"2024-12-10T09:47:32","modified_gmt":"2024-12-10T08:47:32","slug":"zero-tolerance-against-racism","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/personal-finance.bnpparibas\/en\/zero-tolerance-against-racism\/","title":{"rendered":"<strong>Zero tolerance against racism to fight discriminations<\/strong>"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"container\">\n<p>On the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, celebrated on 21 March, BNP Paribas Personal Finance reaffirms its commitment to fight racism.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<p>In order to do this, our company adopts <strong>a zero tolerance for racism<\/strong>, resulting in <strong>concrete actions<\/strong>. 8 collaborators spoke in a short interview, to propose behaviours to be adopted to fight racism and discrimination on a daily basis.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"iframe-wrapper\"><iframe title=\"Vid\u00e9o Youtube - Lutte_Contre_Le_Racisme_Tol\u00e9rance_Z\u00e9ro_EN\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/oI0Rl1KqTOc?feature=oembed\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong>Concrete actions to combat racism<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<p>In order to guarantee respect for all, concrete actions are implemented within BNP Paribas Personal Finance.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<p><strong>To gather the feelings and experiences <\/strong>of the company\u2019s <strong>employees<\/strong>, <strong>a qualitative survey<\/strong> is conducted with the aim of <strong>freeing the floor<\/strong> on these fundamental themes. The latter, in collaboration with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ismcorum.org\/presentation-M21-R51.html\">ISM Corum<\/a> design office, was carried out from the point of view of actual or perceived ethnocultural origin.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<p>The teams also worked on the creation of a <strong>Diversity &amp; Inclusion Charter<\/strong>, in which BNP Paribas Personal Finance confirms its five commitments. It takes over the main orientations of BNP Paribas and is constantly drawing on the experience of the countries in which we operate. In order to accelerate the development of its Diversity &#038; Inclusion policy, as part of the implementation of the PF Impulse strategic plan, BNP Paribas Personal Finance has defined 5 commitments to be implemented by 2025 that are based on our Commitment and contribute to achieving its main objectives: to be exemplary as a company and employer; to transform our activities, our operating models and offerings; have a positive impact beyond our activities in our areas of expertise.<\/p>\n                    <\/div>\n                                <div class=\"quote-card__author-info\">\n                                            <span class=\"quote-card__author\">Wonj\u00e9 Bytha<\/span><span class=\"quote-card__separator\">, <\/span>                                                                <span class=\"quote-card__role\">Head of Diversity &#038; Inclusion<\/span>\n                                    <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n        <\/blockquote>\n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<p>In addition, various <strong>internal procedures<\/strong> are deployed to allow employees who are <strong>victims or witnesses of injustice to alert their discrimination referee<\/strong>, but also to raise employees&#8217; awareness of ethnocultural diversity, through the promotion of <strong>internal networks<\/strong> such as <strong>Afrinity, CulturALL<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong>\u201cYesterday\u2019s Refugees, Today\u2019s Colleagues\u201d exhibition hosted in our premises<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<p>This exhibition was initiated by Group employees and is supported by the Diversity team and the Social and Economic Committee of BNP Paribas Securities Services France.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n<p>Its objective is to create a space dedicated to 8 people arriving in France with refugee status and to allow them to <strong>share their history<\/strong>, <strong>their journey<\/strong> before joining France and becoming our colleagues.
