Since Frédérique Quentin and Frédérique Jules launched the initiative in 2002, the Odyssea Association has joined the fight against breast cancer by organising running races in various major cities across France.

Over 17 years, this cause has brought together 954,803 runners and has seen €9,604,033 raised, which has been redistributed amongst other associations committed to the same cause.

BNP Paribas Personal Finance has participated in this noble cause at the initiative of an employee who saw their partner stricken by the disease and who decided to rally their colleagues to join the race.

This year, around 180 BNP Paribas Personal Finance employees will be participating over two race days, jointly comprising with BNP Paribas Cardif and BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions a team of more than 400 employees committed to the event.

Marie-Andrée, part of the organisation since inception, and Aurélie who joined the volunteer team of seven organisers four years ago, talk to us about this experience they hold close to their heart, not only as employees but also as athletes and women.
