BNP Paribas Personal Finance and more generally the BNP Paribas group, is a company that is firmly anchored in, and engaged with, society. The group has introduced numerous initiatives to enable employees to get involved in positive impact projects, whether personal or professional. 

These projects are projects that have meaning, like the one undertaken by Amélie Biabaut, who is fine tuning and developing it as part of the BNP Paribas People’sLab4Good intrapreneurship programme.

At BNP Paribas Personal Finance, and more generally at BNP Paribas, there is no shortage of positive impact programmes: 1MillionHoursToHelp, the skills contribution programmeenvironmental actions like #Biketowork and #DayZero, and digital and financial inclusion programmesto name but a few… 

The People’s Lab programme, first introduced in 2015, became People’sLab4Good in 2018. It is part of the same movement, but goes one step further, in that it offers support to employees who have an idea that is good for both the company and society in general or the environment, helping them develop it further with the aim of turning it into an actual positive impact project, that is ready to launch across the Group’s different businesses.

Thus the aim is to help them. 

In 2020, to open the programme out still further and thus expand its influence, it is being shared with Danone and ENGIE. It offers participants a real opportunity for personal development, both professionally and personally. During lock-down, the programme was adapted so that it could be accessed remotely. It includes 20 days’ support over 4 months, for a group of 20 employees, who thereby join the #Intrapreneurs4Good community.

Amélie Biabaut, who works for BNP Paribas Personal Finance, told us what it is like to take part in the programme and presented her project to us!
